Annual General Meeting 2023

The 2023 Annual General Meeting of Unilever PLC will be held at 11.30 am BST on Wednesday 3 May 2023 at Unilever House, Springfield Drive, Leatherhead, KT22 7GR.


Unilever understands that certain of our shareholders may be unable to attend the AGM in person. We will therefore be streaming a live webcast of the AGM (including the Q&A session) and details on how shareholders can access this webcast are provided on page 10 of the 2023 AGM Notice of Meeting.

Shareholders can register their proxy vote either by using the electronic voting facility, or by completing and returning the proxy form to Computershare, in accordance with the instructions set out on the back of the proxy form. Please note that proxy forms must arrive with Computershare by no later than 11:30am BST on Monday 1 May 2023.

Institutional investors are able to cast their votes using CREST electronic proxy voting.

Shareholders are encouraged to submit questions for the Q&A session in advance by emailing before 1.00pm BST on 19 April 2023. After responding to these pre-submitted questions, shareholders who attend the AGM in person will be able to ask questions.

How do I get to Unilever’s Leatherhead office on the day of the AGM?

You have two options available:

  • Unilever’s office in Leatherhead is best reached by train. The nearest station is Leatherhead Station. It is approximately 40 minutes from either London Waterloo or London Victoria to Leatherhead Station and a Unilever shuttle bus service will take you the seven-minute journey to our offices.
  • Alternatively, you can drive to the Leatherhead office although you will need to reserve a car parking space in advance. You can reserve a car parking space by emailing your full name and car registration number to

Will there be refreshments at the AGM?

Yes, there will be tea and coffee before the AGM and a light sandwich refreshment provided after the AGM.

Can my partner/friend attend the AGM with me if they are not a shareholder of Unilever?

No, while we appreciate all interest in attending Unilever’s AGM, we are only able to admit shareholders to the AGM. If you are a shareholder who requires someone to accompany you for physical disability or assistance reasons, please let us know at

How do I stop receiving paper communications from Unilever?

Please let us know that you would like to stop receiving paper communications and would prefer to receive electronic communications by emailing us at and we can arrange this.

I hold my shares via a nominee/broker, how do I attend the AGM?

You will need to obtain a letter of representation from your nominee/broker confirming which CREST account your shares are held in and how many shares you are permitted to vote on. You will need to bring your letter of representation with you on the day of the AGM to gain entrance to the meeting.

Do I need an admission ticket for the AGM?

In order to gain access to the AGM, you will need to bring your Attendance Card included within your Proxy Form or, if you opt to receive your communications electronically, a copy of your shareholder email and hand it in on arrival. If you do not bring this form or email with you, then proof of identification will be required for you to gain admittance to the AGM.

Will I be able to access the Staff Shop before or after the AGM?

No, the Staff Shop will not be open at Unilever’s Leatherhead office on the day of the AGM. While we appreciate shareholder interest in purchasing Unilever products, we have taken this decision because it is no longer possible to purchase products at the Staff Shop using cash or card payments. Instead purchases at the Staff Shop can now only be made by downloading an app which requires Unilever credentials to login.
